To redial the last number dialed from the
base unit
Lift the handset or press {MONITOR}, then
press {REDIAL}.
To redial automatically
Press {MONITOR}, then press {REDIAL}.
L If the line is busy, the unit will automatically
redial the number up to 5 times.
4.1.3 Other features
Voice select button
Voice select
You can select the tone quality of the receiver
while you are on a call. 3 settings (high
(default)/medium/low) are available.
During a call, press voice select button
repeatedly to select the desired setting.
Note:
L This feature is not available when using the
speakerphone.
Mute
You can mute your voice during a conversation.
While mute is turned on, you will be able to hear
the other party, but the other party will not be
able to hear you.
1. To mute your voice, press {MUTE}.
2. To return to the conversation, press {MUTE}
again.

4.2 Answering phone calls

4.2.1 With the cordless handset

Lift the cordless handset and press {TALK}
or {SP-PHONE}.
L You can also answer a call by pressing
{MUTE}

When finished talking, press {OFF} or place
the cordless handset on the charger.
Auto talk feature
You can answer calls simply by lifting the
cordless handset off the charger. You do not
need to press {TALK}. The default setting is ON.
To turn this feature OFF, see page 57.
4.2.2 With the base unit

Lift the handset.

When finished talking, replace the handset.
