L If the unit cannot receive caller information,
the following will be displayed:
"OUT OF AREA"/"Out of area": The caller
dialed from an area which does not provide
Caller ID service.
"PRIVATE CALLER"/"Private": The caller
requested not to send caller information.
"LONG DISTANCE"/"LongDistance": The
caller made a long distance call.
To confirm caller information by printing
the Caller ID list
– To print manually, see page 75.
– To print automatically after every 30 new
calls, activate feature #26 (page 53).
4.8 Viewing and calling
back using caller
information
You can easily view caller information and call
back.
Important:
L Calling back will not be possible, if the
caller information does not include a
telephone number.
L If the area code of the received telephone
number is the same as yours, the area
code may need to be deleted before
calling back. This may only apply to some
areas. To edit the number, see page 30.
4.8.1 With the cordless handset
{TALK}
{CALLER ID}

Press {CALLER ID}.
L "Caller list" is displayed.

Press {v} repeatedly to search from the
most recently received caller information.
L If you press {e} repeatedly, the display
order will be reversed.

Press {TALK} or {SP-PHONE} to return the
call.
L The cordless handset will start dialing
automatically.
To change the way caller information is
displayed
Press {CALLER ID} repeatedly after the caller
information is displayed.
