Maintenance - cleaning the Feeder body
Pellet fines will accumulate in the feeder body over
a period of time; therefore, a yearly inspection and
cleaning of this must be performed.
To clean out fines:
1. Remove right rear cover panels.
. Remove wing nut and feeder cover on the right
side of the feeder. See Fig. 4.
3. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove all fines.
4. Reinstall feed cover, wing nut, and right rear
cover panel.

The low draft sensor monitors the air
pressure through a screened fitting in
the hopper. Depending on the amount
of fines in the fuel, this screen may
need to be cleaned periodically. note
the location of this fitting (known
as the muffler). Use caution when
cleaning or emptying the hopper, as
this fitting could break off and cause
feed restriction or the sensor may see
it as a loss of draft, eventually setting
a 6-Blink status code.
Two 5/16" socket hex screws on each side.
