    The P68 is bolted (1/4 x 1" hex head bolts) to the skid to prevent movement during shipping. To free the stove from the skid you must remove the hold-down bolts in the rear of the pedestal base. rear cover panels The rear cover panels need removed from the stove to make it easier to get at the hold-down bolts.

    Failure: To reduce the probability of back-drafting or burn-back in the pellet burning appliance during power failure or shut-down conditions, the stove must be able to draft naturally without exhaust blower operation. Negative pressure in the house will resist this natural draft if not accounted for in the pellet appliance installation.

    In the Room Temperature Mode the stove constantly monitors the temperature in the room and adjusts the size of the fire and the heat output of the stove so that the room is kept at a constant temperature. Room mode, in...

    Manual ignition/oPeration The P68 Pellet Stove is capable of manual operation. This also allows the operator to manually control operation during an emergency (i.e. igniter failure, or when using certain generators or other auxilliary power source.) The unit can be switched between "AUTO" and "MANUAL" at any time during operation.

    Whenever your stove is not burning, take the opportunity to scrape the burn pot to remove carbon buildup. A vacuum cleaner is handy to remove the residue. be sure the stove is cold if you use a vacuum. Carbon buildup can be scraped loose with the fire burning using the special tool provided with your stove.
