Speed sensor inspection

1. Pickup
• Check that the pickup is installed at the
specified location on the bike.
• Check that the pickup is not damaged.
2. Magnet sensor
a. Check that the magnet sensor is not dam-
aged.
b. Check that no metallic foreign material has
adhered to the magnet sensor.
c. Check that the magnetic surface of the mag-
net sensor is facing the sensing point on the
pickup.
d. Install the magnet sensor to match the cen-
ter of the magnet sensor and the cutout
point a of the pickup.
e. Check that the center location of the magnet
sensor 1 is within specification.

f. Check that the gap 2 between the pickup
and the magnet sensor is within specifica-
tion.
