Safety Precautions

Air/Q Appliance Precautions:
• D O NOT position Air/Q within the reach of young children or pets.
• M ust be used only with the supplied and approved Power Supply.
• U nit will not operate properly if positioned sideways or upside down. Air/Q must
not be tilted or turned upside down when fragrance cartridge is inside. Tilting the
Air/Q will cause the fragrance to spill.
• N EVER put your nose to the output of Air/Q. Within 12 inches of the output, the
fragrance is highly concentrated. The improper inhalation of high concentrations of
fragrance may cause irritation including watery eyes, headache, cough and upper
respiratory discomfort.
• D O NOT position Air/Q so that the output is directed at a surface closer than
12 inches. Use the Director attachment to help avoid this.
• E xercise care while changing cartridges when Air/Q
surfaces that may be harmed by contact with the liquid fragrance.
• D o not immerse in or place near water, sink or bathtub.
• U nplug before cleaning.
• B e sure that the unit is placed on a stable surface, far from any flame, source of
sparks or ignition, heat source, or electrical equipment.
• T he product must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to
the marking on the appliance.
• T his appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, un-
less they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-
ance by a person responsible for their safety.
• C hildren should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
