If the PDP 3000 HV is operated in combination with a P / PA 3000 HV, the
PDP 3000 HV sources are selected using a Source Select menu rather than
directly using the F3001's source select buttons. Since the F3001 is a system
remote control handset, in a combined system the source select buttons on the
remote control select the sources of the P / PA 3000 HV which is connected to
the system.
This is the procedure for selecting the sources of the PDP 3000 HV:
A brief press on the  button on the F3001 calls up the Source
Select menu: a pop-up window appears on the screen of the
PDP 3000 HV showing the currently active source.
You can now select the desired source using the  / 
buttons, and subsequently confirm it by pressing the  button.
The pop-up window closes, and the selected source is played.
If the PDP 3000 HV is operated in combination with a P / PA 3000 HV and also
an MP 3000 HV, the whole system is controlled using the FD 100 radio remote
control handset, which is included with the MP 3000 HV. In this system
configuration the FD 100 is the only method of operating all available functions
and sources.
The FD 100's Source Select menu is used to select the sources of the
PDP 3000 HV, together with the sources of the other devices.
This is the procedure for selecting the sources of the PDP 3000 HV:
A brief press on the
Select menu: the screen of the FD 100 displays a list showing all available
sources.
You can now select the desired source using the  / 
buttons, and subsequently confirm it by pressing the  button.
When you confirm the source, the FD 100's screen display switches to the
selected source.
In the device configuration stated above, the number of available sources is
large. To make it easier to operate the system, it is possible to assign individual
names to the sources, and to disable sources you do not wish to use; this is
carried out in the System Configuration menu of the corresponding device
(see chapter "Basic settings of the ... 3000 HV"). We recommend that you
disable all sources you do not intend to use.
