Causes/check procedures
Check if the surfaces of the following pul-
leys are dirty with paper powder.
DP forwarding pulley

Check if the following pulleys is
deformed.

Check if the DP separation pad is worn.
Originals outside the specifications are
used.
Check if the surfaces of the following pul-

Check if the contact between the convey-
ing roller and conveying pulley is correct.
Check if the contact between the eject
roller and eject pulley is correct.
Check if the contact between the switch-
back roller and switchback pulley is cor-
rect.
Clean with isopropyl alcohol.
Check visually and replace any
deformed (see page 1-5-55).
Set the original correctly.
Replace the DP separation pad if it is
worn (see page 1-5-59).
Use only originals conforming to the
specifications.
Clean with isopropyl alcohol.
