Power Supply: 6023M-8R

The SuperServer 6023M-8R has a 400 watt redundant power supply con-
sisting of two power modules.

a 100V to 220V input voltage.

Power Supply Failure

If either of the two power supply modules fail, the other module will take the
full load and allow the system to continue operation without interruption.
The PWR Fail LED will illuminate and remain on until the failed unit has been
replaced. Replacement units can be ordered directly from Supermicro (see
contact information in the Preface).

Removing/Replacing the Power Supply

You do not need to shut down the system to replace a power supply
unit. The redundant feature will keep the system up and running while
you replace the failed hot-swap unit. Replace with the same model -
SP402S (p/n PWS-037), which can be ordered directly from Supermicro
(see Contact Information in the Preface).

Removing the power supply:
First unplug the power cord from the failed power supply unit.
depress the locking tab on the power supply unit and pull the unit straight
out with the rounded handle.

Installing a new power supply:
Replace the failed hot-swap unit with another SP402-2S power supply
unit (p/n PWS-037). Simply push the new power supply unit into the
power bay until you hear a *click*. Secure the locking tab on the unit
and finish by plugging the AC power cord back into the unit.
