Inserting/Removing the Battery
To remove the battery, push in the release buttons
and pull the battery pack away from the tool.
To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body of
the tool. Make sure it latches securely into place.
Changing the Blades
Replace the blades when they becomes dull or
chipped. A blade is dull when blade edge appears
dull, rounded, or damaged. Always replace blades
as a set.

1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Remove the upper blade bolt with the wrench
provided.
3. Pull off the upper blade, keeping hands away
from the cutting edge.
4. Remove the blade release bolt.
5. Pull off the lower blade, keeping hands away
from the cutting edge.
6. Insert the new lower blade, keeping hands away
from the cutting edge.
7. Insert the blade release bolt and tighten securely
with the wrench provided.
8. Ensure the bolt extends no more than 3.1mm
(1/8") above the side of the blade. If bolt
extends 6.3mm (1/4") above the
blade, the bolt is not properly
seated in the blade bolt hole.
9. Insert the upper blade onto the keyed
spindle.
10. Insert the upper blade bolt and
tighten securely with the wrench provided.

Selecting Speed
Select low speed (1) for harder
materials. Select high speed (2)
for softer materials.
Cutting
Warning
•Do not cut short pieces of material that put
fingers near blades. Blade is sharp.
• W ear safety goggles or glasses with side
shields. Material may crack or shatter.
•Blade is sharp. Keep hands away
from cutting edges and moving
parts. Laceration and amputation
can occur.
Before cutting, ensure upper blade bolt and blade
release bolt are securely tightened.
1. Pull the blade release lever to open the jaws.
2. Insert the workpiece squarely between the lower
blade and the upper blade. Do not attempt to
make angled cuts as it will damage the work-
piece and blade.
3. Hold the tool firmly and support the workpiece.
Ensure the workpiece is straight and centered in
the jaws. Keep hands away from blades.
4. Press down on the trigger unlock button and
pull the trigger. Workpiece may move slightly
during the cut.
5. When the cut is complete, release the trigger.
