Advanced dialing options

You can add pauses to dialing sequences that may be
required for international calls.
To add a pause to a dialing sequence:

Contacts
Press
, then select the person in whose
phone number you want to insert a pause.

Scroll to the phone number, then press

Place the cursor in the number where you want
to insert a pause.
· To insert a 3-second pause, press
Insert Pause
. The letter "p" appears where
the pause will occur during dialing.
· To insert a manual pause, press
Insert Wait
. The letter "w" appears where
the pause will occur during dialing. To resume
dialing after a manual pause, press .

Answering calls

When you receive a call, the screen displays the
caller's name and phone number. If the caller is not in
your Contacts list, the screen displays the number only.
To answer an incoming call, press

To turn the speakerphone On, press and hold
for two seconds during an active call.

Tip:
If you are dialing your voicemail or another service
that requires a password or a menu selection with the
speakerphone on, press the
dialing to help reduce audio interference and improve
the system's abililty to recognize your key presses.

Options while talking

While you are on a call, you can press
a list of things you may want to do. Some of these
options are available only when multiple calls are in
progress or during a conference call.
