4. Select Wi-Fi > OPTIONS.
5. Adjust any of these settings in the Wi-Fi Options section:
• Wi-Fi Info on Home:
- Show displays the Wi-Fi network name and password on the LCD screen.
- Hide does not display the Wi-Fi network name and password on the LCD screen.
• Wi-Fi Range:
- Standard (best battery life) range provides the narrowest coverage; however,
battery life is longer.
- Medium range provides moderate coverage and battery life.
- Boost range enables you to connect to Wi-Fi devices farther from your mobile
hotspot and still connect to your Wi-Fi network, but battery life is shorter.
• USB Tether. If you are tethering your hotspot to your device and do not want to use
Wi-Fi for other devices, select the Wi-Fi stays Off radio button.
The Submit button displays after you make a selection.
6. Click the Submit button.
A warning message displays.
7. Click the Submit button.
Your changes are saved.

Dim the screen to reduce the LCD screen's brightness level. Set the screen time-out to a
shorter period to reduce the amount of time that the LCD screen is not touched before the
screen turns blank.
