Select Settings > General > Device.

From the WiFi Standby menu, select a shorter time period.
The shorter the time, the longer the battery life.
The Submit button displays after you make a selection.

Click the Submit button.
Your settings are saved.
Adjust Display Settings to Increase Battery Life
Dim the screen to reduce the touch screen's brightness level. Set the screen time-out to a
shorter period to reduce the amount of time to wait without the touch screen being touched
before the screen turns blank.
To adjust display settings to increase battery life from the touch screen:
