2. Setting the Accounting server

Setting "Accounting" is required for compiling the network status information (connection, disconnection,
MAC address and so on) of the wireless LAN station that you want to communicate with, and then sending
it to the accounting server.
• To use this function, you must set an accounting server.
• You can select to either set the virtual APs individually or all together, on the "Virtual AP" screen.
• If you select to set all virtual APs together, set the accounting server on the "Authentication Server" screen.

 Setting the Virtual APs individually
Individually setting the virtual AP (ath0) on the Wireless 1 is used as an example.

Click [Wireless Settings] and [Wireless1], and then click [Virtual AP].

Select [Enable] for "Accounting."

Select "Enable" for "Use per Virtual AP Settings," and then enter the accounting server data.
• Depending on the system you use, the port number may differ from the default settings.
• Set the same password for the AP-90M in "Secret" for the primary and secondary accounting servers.

Click [Reboot].
• Follow the instructions to reboot the AP-90M.

After the reboot is complete, click [Back].
