RS232C cable must be used exclusively for one connection).
Only one Built-In ACD can be installed in a cabinet. A maximum of two Built-In ACDs can be installed
in a system. Built-In Voice Mail and Built-In ACD cannot be installed in the same cabinet, since they
use the same flexible slots.

Built-In Voice Storage Card - VSSC (VB-44170)

This is one of two cards required for Built-In Voice Mail (the Voice Processing Card is also required -
see below). The Voice Storage Card provides most of the functions of Built-In Voice Mail, including
hard disk storage of the voice data.
Only 1 Built-In Voice Mail Unit can be installed in a single cabinet. A maximum of 4 Built-In Voice Mails
can be installed in a multiple-cabinet (4 or more cabinets) system.
Built-In Voice Mail and Built-In ACD cannot be installed in the same cabinet, since they use the same
flexible slots.
Integrated Feature Module Card (8 - 24 circuits) - IFM
(Voice Mail)
(VB-44191xxx)
The IFM (Integrated Feature Module) card provides a plug-in platform for running numerous PBX
applications internally, such as PanaVoice Courier voice mail, Voice-over-IP, or enhanced ACD.
IFM
model VB-44191xxx is pre-loaded with PanaVoice Courier voice mail software.
The IFM base card
includes a Pentium II 266 MHz PC running Windows® NT, a voice processing section with 8 voice
circuits, a PBX interface, and a power supply.
An IFM Daughterboard with 8 voice processing ciruits is also available. Up to two IFM
Daughterboards can be attached to each base card, to achieve a maximum of 24 voice circuits per
IFM package.
The IFM base card includes an RJ-45 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connector and two serial COM ports. A
laptop PC with a LAN port and a LAN Crossover cable is required for configuring the IFM.
One IFM voice mail package can be installed in a system.

(Voice Mail)
(VB-44191S2/VB-44191S4)
The IFM (Integrated Feature Module) card - Linux version provides a plug-in platform for running
numerous PBX applications internally, such as PanaVoice Courier voice mail, Voice-over-IP, or
enhanced ACD.
IFM models VB-44191S2/S4 are pre-loaded with PanaVoice Courier voice mail
software.

section with 8 voice circuits (up to 4 can be used for Linux Standard Voice Mail), a PBX interface, and
a power supply.

Voice Processing Card (4 circuits) - VPU/4 (VB-44160)

This card contains 4 voice processing circuits. It can be used with Built-In Voice Mail and Built-In
ACD. (There is another Voice Processing Card, VB-44150, that contains 8 voice processing circuits
and can be used only with Built-In Voice Mail.)
Built-In Voice Mail requires 1 or 2 voice processing cards; any combination of the two types is
acceptable. Built-In ACD uses only 1 voice processing card (the 4-circuit card).
