DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURES
(Remove parts in the order as numbered.)
Disconnect the power plug from the AC outlet.
1. Removal of Top Cover
a. Remove 4 screws (1) and 5 screws (2) in Fig. 1.
b. Lift the Top Cover at the rear and move it rear-ward
slantingly.
2. Removal of Front Panel Unit
a. Disconnect cables from Connectors (CB752, CB415,
CB407, CB305, CB302) in Fig. 2.
b. Remove 3 screws (3) and 3 screws (4) in Fig. 1.
c. Remove the Front Panel Unit forward in Fig. 1.
3. Removal of Tuner
a. Disconnect a cable from Connector (CB303) in Fig. 2.
b. Remove 3 screws (5) and then remove the Tuner in
Fig. 3.
4. Removal of MAIN (1) P.C.B.
a. Disconnect cables from Connectors (CB413, CB403,
CB401) in Fig. 2.
b. Remove the cap (6) from the Digital Output Terminal in
Fig. 3.
c. Remove 3 screws (7), 1 screw (8) and 2 screws (9)
in Fig. 3.

d. Remove 1 screw (0) and 5 screws (A) and then
remove the MAIN (1) P.C.B. in Fig. 3.
5. Removal of CD Mechanism Unit
a. Disconnect the cable from the Connector (CB601) in
Fig. 4.
b. Remove 2 screws (B) and 2 screws (C) in Fig. 4. and
then remove the Frame/P.C.B..
c. Remove 4 screws (D) and then remove the CD
Mechanism Unit in Fig. 4.
