CAUTION:
To prevent static damage to components inside your computer, discharge static electricity from your body before you touch any of
your computer's electronic components. You can do so by touching an unpainted metal surface.
 
1. Follow the instructions in

2. Remove the hard drive. See
 
3. Remove the optical drive. See
 
4. Remove the memory module. See
 
5. Remove the Mini PCI card. See
 
6. Remove the processor thermal-cooling assembly. See
 
7. Remove the processor. See
 
8. Remove the hinge cover. See
 
9. Remove the keyboard. See
 
10. Remove the display assembly. See
 
11. Remove the palm rest. See
 
12. Remove the modem. See
Removing the
 
13. Remove the speakers connector. See
 
14. Remove the system board. See
 
15. Disconnect the fan power cable from the system board.
 
16. Turn the system board over and remove the four M2.5 x 5-mm screws holding the metal plate in place.
