STEP 4 - Attach Hotshoe to Camera

1. The Mounting Tray for the camera is secured to the housing back.
Position the camera on the Mounting Tray.
2. ATTACH the hotshoe when:
- NOT using the built-in camera flash.
- Connecting a strobe(s) to the External Strobe Connecter (#1, Page 8).
Slide the housing Hotshoe Connector forward into the Camera Hotshoe
Mount until it stops, Diagram A, Page 10. This should be done before
the camera is secured with the mounting bolt, Diagram B, Page 11,
otherwise leave the hotshoe disconnected from the camera.
You will also need to install the Flash Deflector, Page 17.
DO NOT attach the hotshoe when:
- USING the built-in camera flash.
- Connecting a strobe(s) to the fiber optic ports.
You will also need to install the Flash Diffuser, Page 17.
