22. Place the engine on a suitable stand or workbench
that will support the full weight in a safe manner while
preventing damage to the engine.
NOTE
If the engine is being replaced, some components must
be removed and installed on the new engine. See the
"Parts & Maintenance Manual" for additional information
and illustrations.
Installation Notes
• Inspect engine mounts and replace if necessary.
• Install the engine by reversing the order of removal.
• Tighten the flywheel drive plate screws to 37 lb-ft (51
N
m).
·
• If necessary, remove components from the engine
and install the components on the new engine.
• Use new gaskets when installing the exhaust system.
• Fill the radiator with a 50/50 mixture of ethylene
glycol-base antifreeze and clean fresh water.
• Replace the engine oil filter and fill engine with oil.
• Purge air from the fuel system. See the engine
manufacturer's manual for further instructions.

manufacturer, is supplied with this machine. Refer to the
engine manufacturer's manual for all engine-related
service.
Proper attention to the engine manufacturer's manual
directions will ensure maximum service life of the engine.
