5.8.1 Filling hydraulic oil

Only use the hydraulic oil pres-
cribed, refer to Technical Data!
1. Tip the seat up.
2. Remove the cap (Fig. 17/1), wipe the
dipstick with a clean cloth, reinsert it
and and remove it again.
3. Compare the oil level with the mar-
king at the bottom end of the oil
dipstick.
4. Do not pour in too much oil at one
time. Allow the oil a few minutes to
run into the hydraulic oil tank. Then
measure the oil level again.
5. Replace the cap.
6. Tip the seat back down.

5.8.2 Changing the hydraulic oil

The hydraulic oil must be changed eve-
ry 500 operating hours.
Take the utmost care when
draining hot hydraulic oil. Risk
of burns!
1. Park the vehicle on an even surface

and lower the sweepings container.
Switch the engine off and actuate the
parking brake.
2. Place a suitable collecting vessel un-
der the drain plug (Fig. 17/3) of the
hydraulic oil tank (Fig. 17/2).
Oil quantity: 23 liters.
3. Remove the drain plug and drain the
hydraulic oil into the collecting ves-
sel.
Dispose of the used hydraulic
oil according to the applicable
environmental regulations!
4. Replace the drain plug with a new
sealing ring and refill hydraulic oil,
refer to Section 5.8.1.
5. Start the engine and operate all the
working functions at a slower speed
as well as raising, lowering and em-
ptying the sweepings container se-
veral times. Switch the engine off
again.
6. Refill more hydraulic oil, if necessa-
ry. Check the hydraulic system for
leaks.

5.8.3 Change hydraulic oil filter

The hydraulic oil filter must be changed
for the first time after 50 operating hours
and subsequently every 500 operating
hours.
Take the utmost care when
draining hot hydraulic oil. Risk
of burns!
1. Park the vehicle on an even surface
and raise the sweepings container.
Switch the engine off and actuate the
parking brake.
2. Unscrew the hydraulic oil filter (Fig.
17/4).
Dispose of the used hydraulic
oil filter according to environ-
mental regulations!
3. Install a new hydraulic oil filter with
new sealing rings (tighten hand-
tight).
4. Start the engine and switch it off
again. Check the hydraulic system
for leaks.
