lnterface Connections
and Switch Settings
for Popular Computers
The MICROLINE
92 and 93 printers
have
a
built-in
Cen-
tronics-compatible parallel interface, an
optional
high
speed
RS232-C interface
and an optional
super speed RS232-C
interface. This appendix provides the
switch settings and the
cabling configurations
required to
connect
the ML92
and 93
to some
of
the more popular
computer systems on
the
market today.
In
each application we will
specify the type
of cable
to use
(parallel or serial) and will show
the required pin
connections
and
switch
settings.
In
some cases you can
use
switch
selections other than
the
ones we've given, just check with
your computer
documentation
for other alternatives
to
baud rates, protocols,
etc.
For
easy
reference,
we've
listed the
computer systems
in
alphabetical order.
