TUNING THE CHASSIS

Adjusting the riding sag

Loosen screw
Turn adjusting ring
Hook wrench (T106S)
Measure the overall spring length while the spring is not under tension.
Tighten the spring by turning adjusting ring
Guideline
Spring preload (SX‑F EU)
Spring preload (SX‑F USA)
Spring preload (XC‑F)
Tighten screw

Screw, shock absorber adjusting ring

Install the shock absorber.

Remove the shock absorber.
After removing the shock absorber, clean it thoroughly.
Choose and mount a suitable spring.

Adjust the rebound damping of the shock absorber. (

increase or decrease the spring preload.
