SERVICE WORK ON THE ENGINE

Remove screws

Pull oil filter
Circlip pliers reverse (51012011000)
–
Completely drain the engine oil.
–
Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing surfaces.

Mount and tighten the oil drain plug

Insert the short oil screen
tighten.

Place the long oil screen

The larger inside diameter of the oil screen must face the engine case.
–
Push the pin wrench through the opening into the drill hole of the opposite engine
case wall and push the oil screen as far as possible into the engine case.
–
Mount and tighten screw plug with the O-ring.

– Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing to about ⅓ full with
engine oil.

Fill the oil filter
–
Oil the O-ring of the oil filter cover and mount it with the oil filter cover
–
Mount and tighten the screws.

Stand the motorcycle upright.
