Locating the controls
The following figure shows the locations of controls on the pro dock.

Always On USB 3.0 connector (
Used to indicate whether the pro dock is powered on normally.
Used to secure the pro dock through a security cable lock.
Used to connect the power adapter.
Used to connect a notebook computer.
Used to connect an external monitor with a DVI cable. You also can
connect a DVI-I to VGA adapter to the DVI-I video output connector,
and connect the external monitor with a VGA cable to the DVI-I to
VGA adapter.
Used to connect an external monitor with a DP cable.
Used to connect USB 3.0 devices, such as a USB scanner, a USB
speaker, or a USB printer.
Used to connect a local area network (LAN) cable.
Used to connect USB 2.0 devices, such as a USB keyboard, a USB
mouse, a USB speaker, or a USB printer.
Notes:
1. It is recommended that you connect a USB keyboard and a USB
mouse to the connectors.
2. If you are using a USB 3.0 device, it is recommended that you
connect it to a USB 3.0 connector rather than USB 2.0 connector
for faster USB transmission speed.
Used to turn on or turn off the pro dock.

devices and smartphones.
