3. Connect the dc-in connector of the power adapter to the pro dock. The pro dock is powered on
automatically. To power off the pro dock, press the power button of the pro dock.
Notes:
a. When the pro dock is power supplied, the pro dock is powered on automatically and the power and
connection indicator is on. Press the power button of the pro dock to power off the pro dock.
b. Be sure to correctly connect the pro dock to the power supply. If the pro dock is not powered
on, you will not be able to use the pro dock.
4. Connect the USB plug 1 of the USB 3.0 cable to the USB 3.0 upstream connector on the pro dock.
5. Connect the USB plug 2 of the USB 3.0 cable to an available USB 3.0 connector on the notebook
computer. The system will automatically identify and configure the pro dock. The video output function
of the pro dock will be automatically enabled after the configuration is completed.

Notes:
• The pro dock will not supply power to the notebook computer during the time when it is connected to
the notebook computer.
• Connecting the pro dock to any connector other than a USB 3.0 connector or using any USB cable other
than a USB 3.0 cable might impact on the pro dock performance, especially the video playback and
Ethernet performance. However, the supported maximum resolution will not be reduced.
