Locating connectors and controls on the dock

Power button

The power button is used to turn on or turn off your notebook computer, or to put the notebook computer
into sleep or hibernation mode. To achieve this, you need to change the power plan settings of your
notebook computer. For more information, refer to the user guide that comes with your notebook computer.

USB 3.0 connector with battery charging function
The USB 3.0 connector with battery charging function is used to do the following:
• Connecting USB devices (USB 1.0, USB 1.1, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0 compatible)
• Charging devices even when your notebook computer is turned off, in sleep mode, or in hibernation
mode; or when the dock is disconnected from your notebook computer
