System requirements

Before using the pro dock, ensure that your notebook computer meets the following general requirements:
• Microsoft Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit)
• Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32 bit or 64 bit)
• Windows Media Player (WMP), CyberLink PowerDVD, and Corel WinDVD
• High performance of the battery power plan
• A device driver
For more information about the device driver, go to "Installing the device driver on Windows operating
systems" on page 23
For DP output only, DVI-I or VGA output only, DP / DVI-I simultaneous output and DP / VGA simultaneous
output, ensure that your notebook computer also meets the following requirements:
• The system requirements for a 2048 x 1152 resolution with DVI-I output only or VGA output only are
as follows:
Minimum requirements (for viewing documents and
Web sites)
Processor: 1.4 Ghz Intel Core2 Duo / AMD Turion 64 x 2
or better*
Memory: 2 GB
Video Card: Any supported GPU released after
September 2009.
* Any Intel Core2Quad, i3, i5, i7, AMD Phenom, Fusion (Llano, Trinity & Richland), or Jaguar (Temash &
Kabini) meets the processor requirements.
• The system requirements for a 2560 x 1440 or 2560 x 1600 resolution with DP output only are as follows:
