• do not leave any food dry on the surfaces of the appliance. do not immerse the motor
housing or power cord in water or any other liquid. do not pour or drip any liquids on the
motor housing or power cord. When liquids are spilled on the motor housing, immediately
unplug the appliance and dry the motor housing to avoid risk of electric shock or fire. do
not attempt to operate the appliance, when liquids are on or in the motor housing.
• do not place the motorblock in an automatic dishwasher!
• To avoid damage, do not use any abrasive cleaners, corrosive chemicals (i.e. disinfect-
ants, bleach) or cleaning pads for operation or cleaning. do not use any hard or sharp
utensils for operation or cleaning. Always handle the entire appliance and all parts of it
with care and without violence.
• Always make sure that the stainless steel filters and juice spout do not clog up during the
work, because the juice might otherwise run into the center hole of the juice collector and
onto the engine block. If liquids (spilled juice) pour on the engine block, turn off the power
immediately and unplug the power cord. Then clean the appliance, as described in chapter
›Care and Cleaning‹.
• do not use the appliance if it is damaged or parts of the appliance are damaged. do
not use the appliance if it does not function properly or if it was excessively loaded. The
appliance is likely damaged if the appliance or parts of the appliance show cracks, exorbi-
tant wearing down, alterations or leaks. It is also likely damaged if the drive wheel of the
motorblock moves slowly. Take the appliance for technical maintenance and repair to an
authorised specialised reparation shop.
• Never use the appliance with two stainless steel filters together. Always check before
using the appliance that only one stainless steel filter is inserted in the device. Remove the
dust cover before use. Make sure that no foreign objects are in the appliance before turning
on the juicer.
• WARNING:
To avoid injury to persons and damage, always turn the appliance off,
wait for the motor to stop completely and unplug the appliance, immediately after operation
and before assembling/disassembling or cleaning the appliance. Never use force opera-
ting, assembling or disassembling the appliance.
• Leave on all sides of the appliance at least 15 cm free. The ON/OFF button must remain
fully accessible during operation. The cord at the back of the appliance should not be bent
and squeezed. Wrap the cord onto the cord storage under the applince. In addition, the
appliance should be easily accessible from the front and above during operation.
• Ensure the appliance is properly assembled before connecting the plug into the power
outlet and there is a container/vessel of sufficient size under the juice spout. During opera-
tion the container/vessel must have a secure footing and may neither run over nor tilt.
• caution: do not place the motorblock in an automatic dishwasher.
• The appliance is for household only.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
