15. Take apart the components and empty the stainless steel filter and the juice collector.
caution: Never clean the motorbase or power cord in the dishwasher! never immerse
the motorblock, the power cord or power plug in water or other liquids. never pour water
or other liquids on the motorblock or let any liquids run under the appliance. Wipe off spilled
liquids immediately.
never use any abrasive cleaners, corrosive chemicals (i.e. disinfectants, bleach) or clean-
ing pads for cleaning. do not use any hard or sharp utensils for operation or cleaning.
Always handle the entire appliance and all parts of it with care and without violence. Espec-
cialy the stainless steel filters can be destorted and will be unusable .
16. After work and before first use, clean fruit dome, juicing cone, stainless steel filters and
juice collector with a plastic brush and warm soapy water and then rinse with clear water.
Alternatively, you can clean these parts in the dishwasher.
note: If you want to continue working and the food residues are not dried on the parts of
the appliance, it may be enough to rinse these parts in clear water. Dried on residues can be
soaked before cleaning for about 10 minutes in warm soapy water.
The dust cover can be washed in warm soapy water as needed and dried with a soft cloth.
Never clean the lid in the dishwasher.
17. Wipe the motorblock and the power cord with a damp, not dripping cloth. If necessary, clean
the working area under the appliance and dry the motorblock and the working area throughly.
warning:
Never use hard or sharp objects to clean the rotor shaft. Remove any residue
with a damp, not dripping cloth, pay attention not to damage the seal of the rotor shaft. The
seal is surrounding the rotor shaft. Never use the appliance, if this seal is damaged or fluids
are running down from the appliance to avoid risk of fire and electrical shock.
Optionally clean the rotor shaft gently. Make sure that no food residue dries
on the rotor shaft.
18. Dry the appliance and all its parts carefully. Allow the parts to dry some
minutes in the air. Then replace juice collector, stainless steel filter, juicing
cone and fruit dome on the appliance, as described in the section ›Assem-

blimng Your Design Citrus Juicer Advanced‹. Place the dust cover over the
juicing cone and stainless steel filter (Fig. U).
