3. Hardware Installation
1. Unpack the print server package and verify that all the items listed in
Section 2.2 are included.
To prevent a compatibility problem between the print server and the
printer, power on the print server before the printer.
2. Using standard USB or parallel cable, connect the print server to the printer
you want to share on the network.
3. Connect the included power adapter to the print server.
4. The print server will perform the power-on-self-test (POST) after it's powered
on. During the POST, the Power LED will flash. When the Power LED stops
flashing and stays steadily lit, the print server is ready.
Your equipment might be damaged if you do not use the power adapter
shipped with the print server. Do not use any other power adapter.
