8.10 DHCP Server Configuration
The print server can be configured as a DHCP server to assign IP addresses to
other devices on the network. See Figure 8-10.
The DHCP Cfg page allows you to set:
• The DHCP startup, which will determine if the print server will act as a DHCP
server. You can enable or disable this function. If this item is set to Auto, the
print server will detect if there is any DHCP server on the network when it
boots up. If there is no DHCP server on the network, then the print server will
configure itself as a DHCP server; otherwise, it will disable this function.
