2.9.3 Procedure
SECURITY ALERT / LITHIUM BATTERY failure
(I)
Load and execute the maintenance software Magic3-Diag.
Go to sub-menu "Select tests / Security" , check displayed message and follow
1. A switch running in the KEYPAD or/and in the DISPLAY is currently opened.
Change the KEYPAD.
KEYPAD is certainly the root cause, but since Terminal is open :
- Check the PCB_KEYBOARD on a reference Terminal (a golden sample), and
change it if failure occurs.
- Verify that the DISPLAY flex is correctly connected.
1. Mesh or/and Switch is currently opened.
Check the GRID_MESH_BOX continuity. If the continuity fails, change
GRID_MESH_BOX & ELASTOMERIC connector (position A).
2. If GRID_MESH_BOX was OK or if the failure is still present after having
changed it, then change the KEYPAD.
