Your motorcycle's han-
dling will suffer if you do
not match the spring-preload and
z
damping-characteristic settings.
Adjust the damping characteristic
to suit the spring preload.
Adjust spring preload with ad-
justment rings 1 and 2.
To turn adjustment rings: in-
sert tool from toolkit 3 for brac-
ing and tool from toolkit 4 for
turning. Make sure hooks a
securely engage in a groove.
To loosen locking, turn adjust-
ment ring 1 in direction b while
bracing adjustment ring 2.
Completely remove load from
front wheel.
