    Description The 5 MP Motorized dome camera is a high- r es olu tio n fixed dome IP camera with 5 MP and a built-in fan and heater, making it an ideal choice for all-weather outdoor applications where image detail and/or a wider coverage is important.
  • Page 6 WARNINGS  In the use of the product, you must be in strict compliance with the electrical safety regulations of the nation and region.  Refer to the technical specifications for detailed information.  Input voltage should meet both the SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) and the Limited Power Source with 24 VAC or 12 VDC according to the IEC60950-1 standard.
  • Page 7 CAUTIONS  Make sure the power supply voltage is correct before using the camera.  Do not drop the camera or subject it to physical shock.  Do not touch CMOS modules with fingers. If cleaning is necessary, use a clean cloth with a bit of ethanol and wipe it gently.

  • Page 9 Notes  The extended interface can be connected to an alarm input/output interface, audio input/output interface, or RS-485 interface.  After the powering on of the camera, pressing and holding the RESET button for about 10 seconds will reset all the parameters to the default settings.

    Installation To ensure the camera operates properly, install the camera according to the instructions below. Before you start  Make sure that the device in the package is in good condition and all the assembly parts are included.  Make sure that all the related equipment is powered off during the installation.
  • Page 12 Secure the back box to the ceiling with screws, as shown below.
  • Page 13 Loosen the set screws with the hex key (supplied) to remove the lower dome; remove the dome liner.

  • Page 19 Loosen the set screws with the hex key (supplied) to remove the lower dome, and then remove the dome liner. Rotate the toggle to remove it from the toggle bolt. Insert the bolt into the toggle bolt hole on the dome module and use the screwdriver to rotate the bolt slightly but not tightly.

    Outdoor mounting You can use outdoor mounting for your Dome Camera. To mount outdoors: Make sure that the ceiling is strong enough to withstand Note: three times the weight of the camera and the housing. Drill the holes in the ceiling. Install the mounting base. Remove the nuts from the expansion screws. Rotate the aluminum pipe to the mounting base and secure every joint with the supplied lock screws.

  • Page 30 Install the housing. Secure the housing to the threaded end of the aluminum pipe with the M4 × 6 lock screws. Insert the securing plate for the network camera, and secure them with the M4 × 8 set screws.
  • Page 31 Housing Securing plate Notes  Because of the different production batch, some type 11 securing plates may be already installed on the housing, some are not. Check it carefully during the installation.  As to the securing plates, not yet installed on the housing, the plate side with the dimpled holes on it should face the ground when being inserted to the housing.

  • Page 33 Disassemble the camera. Remove the hex screws from the dome camera with the supplied screwdriver to separate the camera lid and the camera. Remove the camera hook because it is not necessary here. See the figure below. Install the camera. Connect the corresponding power/video cables.

  • Page 38: Setting The Network Camera Over The Lan

    Setting the network camera over the LAN To view and configure the camera via LAN (Local Area Network), you will need to connect the network camera in the same subnet with your PC. Then, install the software to search and change the IP of network camera. The following figure shows the cable connection of network camera and PC.
  • Page 39 Change the IP address and subnet mask to the same subnet as of your PC. After launching the SADP software, it automatically searches the online devices every 15 seconds from the subnet where your computer is located. It displays the total number and information of the searched devices in the Online Devices interface.

In the browser address bar, enter the IP address of the network camera – for example, 192.168.1.250 and press Enter to display the login interface. Enter the user name and password and then click Login. Install the plug-in before viewing the live video and managing the camera.
