Introduction

ClareVision's newest line of IP CCTV cameras have been tested and certified for
integration with the ClareHome system. These cameras include the Proline
motorized varifocal (P-series), Mainline varifocal (M-series), and Affordable
fixed-lens cameras (B-series).
The ClareVision cameras integrate with the ClareHome system in a way similar
to other integrations. All camera integrations share a common UI, so that the
user experience is consistent.
Camera settings can be controlled via events. Use Fusion's Scenes and Rules to
automate the actions your customers want. The following figure shows the
ClareVision camera display docked in the ClareHome UI.

Refer to the installation and setup instructions that came with your ClareVision IP camera. Notes • The Clare Controls application supports three dockable cameras and one pop-up view.
  • Page 3 Connecting the ClareVision IP cameras to the ClareHome data network After installing the ClareVision IP cameras, connect them to the ClareHome data network. To connect a ClareVision IP camera to the ClareHome data network: 1. Attach one end of a Cat 5E or Cat 6 networking cable to the camera and the other end to your ClareHome network switch.
  • Page 4 2. Expand the CCTV > IP Cameras folder, and then select your series model (P, M, or B) from the list. 3. In the Details tab’s Name field, enter a name for your ClareVision IP camera. 4. Click the Configuration tab.
  • Page 5 5. Enter values in the following fields: • In the Address field, enter the device’s network IP address. • In the Driver field, select the Clare Controls ClareVision driver. 6. Click the Save button Fusion displays the Create Service dialog.
