    Operation Operational Description The ITR1000-001 Basic Tone Remote Desk Set provides radio system control from a remote location. The desk set control tones are sent to the tone remote adapter through a private or leased line, and are used to control radio functions such as transmit, channel changes, and monitor. The receive audio from the radio system is sent to the desk set from the radio via the same private or leased line.

    Operation ITR1000-001 Basic Tone Remote Desk Set MONITOR Button Press the button (CTCSS/CDCSS disable) to place the radio in the monitor mode. Press this MONITOR button before making a call to verify a clear radio channel is available. TRANSMIT Button Press the button to place the desk set in the transmit mode and initiate voice transmissions.

In-transit damage should be immediately reported to the transportation company.

    Power Connections Power is applied to the ITR1000-001 from the provided ac wall transformer that is supplied with the unit. Power is applied to TS1-6 (+, lead with white dashed stripe) and TS1-5 (−).
