Audio Language
Refer to the table on pages A-14 and A-15
Determines the language in which audio is heard. If the selected
audio language is available on the loaded DVD, the RT-10 selects
the audio track that includes that language. If the selected audio
language is not included on the loaded DVD, the RT-10 selects the
default disc audio language.
Select Other to choose a language other than English, French,
German, Italian, or Spanish. The DVD format recognizes 136
different languages, which are listed in the table that begins on
page A-14. When Other is selected, the Audio Language screen
shown above opens on the on-screen display.
To select an "Other" language:
1. When the Audio Language screen opens, use one of the
following methods to select the desired language:
a. Press the remote control
the complete list of available languages. When the desired
language is highlighted, press the remote control ENTER
button to select this language and return to the Language
tab.

b. Press the remote control
the first character space that appears on the right of the
on-screen display. Then, use the remote control number
buttons to enter the numeric code for the desired
language. Refer to the table that begins on page A-14 to
determine the appropriate numeric code. When the
desired language is selected, press the remote control
ENTER button to return to the Language tab.
Note the following:
•
If the Auto Language parameter (3-39) is set to On, the RT-10
automatically selects the default disc audio track, regardless of
the Audio Language parameter setting.
•
The remote control AUDIO button can be used to select the
desired audio track (audio language and output format) on the
loaded DVD. Refer to page 4-7 for more information.
