Troubleshooting & Maintenance

RT-10 MAINTENANCE

The RT-10 exterior surface can be cleaned with a soft, dry,
lint-free cloth. Do not use a cloth made with steel wool or
metal polish. Do not soak the cloth in alcohol, benzene,
acetone-based cleaners, or strong commercial cleaners. If the
RT-10 is located in a dusty environment, a low-pressure blower
can be used to remove dust from its exterior surface.
Replace the remote control batteries as needed (1-9). The
remote control requires two AA batteries. It is strongly
recommended to use Alkaline batteries, which last longer with-
out leaking.
Refer to the Installation Considerations section that begins on
page 1-3 for information about preventative maintenance.
Note:
The RT-10 lens should not become dirty or damaged
from regular use. However, if malfunction occurs,
contact an authorized Lexicon dealer for assistance.
Do not attempt to clean the lens with a commercially
available DVD or CD lens cleaner, as some of these
products might damage the RT-10 lens.
