Selection of Cooking Levels
To set or change the cooking level (
Increase the cooking level by the sensor control n.
Reduce the cooking level by the sensor control n.
Switching on and off the Double-Tuned Zone
When having double-tuned cooking zones the bigger heating circuit can be switched in to the smaller
cooking zone by the associated sensor control on the ceramic-glass cooking surface depending on the
size of pots and pans.
This can only be switched in if the smaller heating circuit is already switched on.
The indicator lights with a switched in outer cooking zone.

Touch the sensor control "double-tuned zone".
The outer heating circuit is switched in. The indicator next to the sensor control "double-tuned
zone" will light.

To switch off the outer heating circuit press the sensor control "double-tuned zone", the outer
heating circuit is switched off.
Switching off the Cooking Zones
1.
Select the desired cooking zone with the sensor controls for the cooking zones.

To switch it off press the sensor controls n and n simultaneously or reset to zero by the
sensor control n.

Residual Heat Display

After switching off a particular cooking zone or the whole cooking surface any existing residual heat will
be indicated in the digital display of the corresponding cooking zones by

has cooled off.
You can use the residual heat for melting and keeping warm food.
Attention! As long as the residual heat display lights there is a danger of
burning.
Attention! In case of a power failure also the symbol n goes out and thus the information on an
existing residual heat. The possibility to burn yourself, however, continues to be. You can avoid this
