    If UPS to be connected in parallel have external batteries it is mandatory each UPS counts with its own battery pack. Parallel connection cannot be performed if only one of two (or two or three) UPS have external batteries.     5. Check Maintenance Bypass Switch (MBS) located in UPS rear panel is in UPS position and its cover is duly installed. 6. Make sure all external protection devices in input and output lines are in open (OFF) position. 7.   • Page 25 At this moment all UPS are in ONLINE mode. UPS output is generated by UPS inverter. 12.- Now we must measure output voltage in each UPS using a digital multi-meter.     When important problem is detected inside or outside the UPS, it goes to fault mode reporting an error message on LCD and activating buzzer with a continuous beep.     When a problem is detected in regards to parallel communication between Activated some UPS in parallel warning code 3F is activated.
