    USER MANUAL – OPTIMA-33-RT10 5K-20K 4.- PRINCIPLES AND OPERATION MODES This is an ONLINE Double Conversion UPS, and it is designed to deliver clean, seamless, and highest-quality power, protecting your computer equipment and your valuable information. Waveform delivered by this UPS is pure sinewave, just like the main electrical service. Depending on the state of the incoming power service and its configuration, the UPS can assume different operation modes as described in this section.

    USER MANUAL – OPTIMA-33-RT10 5K-20K SITE INSPECTION AND INSTALLATION CONDITIONS REGULATIONS AND LEGAL DIRECTIVES It is necessary to check that installation site, wiring and power protection in the installation supplied by end user, fulfill technical parameters required by UPS. A particular installation might accomplish with UPS requirements but not with local directives and regulations. The end user and/or electrical contractor will be responsible of watching for complying with electrical regulations and normative during electrical installation managed by end user.

    USER MANUAL – OPTIMA-33-RT10 5K-20K UPS INSTALLATION UNPACKING AND HANDLING This equipment comes packed on a pallet and is protected with wood and cardboards. Cut the straps and carefully remove the packaging. Unpack the equipment according to the following figure. We suggest using sufficient personnel to handle the weight of the equipment.

    USER MANUAL – OPTIMA-33-RT10 5K-20K TOWER MOUNTING This UPS can also be installed in a tower format using the bases that come included with the equipment. Follow the instructions shown below. TOWER MOUNTING FOR UPS AND BATTERIES: Assemble the plastic supports included with the equipment so that they create the required width for the UPS and Battery modules. Place the supports on a completely flat surface that can support the weight of the equipment.

With the capacity and appropriate technology to effectively fulfill its function. Moreover, the site must offer an appropriate EARTHING system. This UPS must be connected to appropriate electrical service according to selected model.

Suggested values have been selected to ensure proper operation. NOTE: Each country or region may have local regulations more demanding than the values suggested in this manual. In those cases, the requirements of the local regulations must be followed.

    USER MANUAL – OPTIMA-33-RT10 5K-20K AC CONECTION – MODEL OPTIMA-33-RT10 – 15K / 20K -400-NB 2-Pole Jumper, included with UPS IMPORTANT NOTES: For systems with separate inputs (main and secondary/bypass), the jumpers that come factory-connected between UPS inputs (Main AC and Bypass) must be disconnected. If UPS is to be powered by a single energy source (Most common case), jumpers should be kept in place and electrical service connected to the MAIN INPUT terminals.

To connect external battery packs, it is essential to respect the DC voltage of the UPS model used and to use the original XMART cables. Battery Modules have 3 connection points to the UPS: 1.

If 2 OPTIMA-33-RT10 units are installed, they can either share the XBAT or use them separately, without needing any special configuration. If more than 2 OPTIMA-33-RT10 units are installed, it is not possible to share the XBAT, as shown in connection diagrams shown later on this manual.

The UPS configuration and operation menu is structured as shown in the following diagram: Below, the different operations that can be performed with this UPS, including configuration procedures.
