Message What it means?
Insufficient Volume error
The volume of blood or
control solution is NOT
enough.
Test result is higher than
600 mg/dL.
The test result is lower
than 20 mg/dL.
What to do?
Repeat the test with a new strip,
puncture site, and enough
blood/control solution.
Refer to pages 25-27
sample application.
Re-check your glucose level.
If the glucose result is HI again, obtain
and follow instructions from your
healthcare professional without delay.
This may require immediate treatment
according to your healthcare
professional's recommendations.
Although this message could be due to a
test error, it is safer to treat first and then
do another test.
