Switch the power ON. When the printer
is ready, set the LASER POWER CHECK
switch of the driver tester to "ON".
Set the meter range to 20 VDC. Contact the
test leads against the following
connector pins on the DC controller PCS:
COM
CHECK switch of the driver tester
Switch the power OFF, and
laser/scanner unit.

connector pins on the DC controller PCB:
DC controller
COM
Does the meter indicate 0.95 to
CHECK switch of the driver tester
The laser/scanner unit is working normally.
