• You are calibrating the system.
• You are simply doing a manual
glucose test and NOT calibrating.
Calibrate Your System/Test Blood Glucose Manually
Do This
Caution: If you have hypoglycemia, or hypoglycemia
unawareness, then test ONLY on your fingers.
Note 1: Vary the sites from test to test to avoid tenderness
and to avoid creating calluses.
Note 2: Avoid moles, veins, bones, and tendons.
If
Select ONLY a finger for testing (see red
circles).
Select from among the sites shown
including the circled areas.
Caution: Always calibrate the
system using only a finger-stick
blood sample. Do NOT use
alternate site blood glucose
measurements to calibrate the
system. The receiver contains
a built-in FreeStyle® Blood
Glucose Meter for performing
calibration tests.
