Mic-Off (Option 12)
The MIC-OFF button can be used in two modes, the first mode assigns this
button to activate/deactivate the telephones microphone. The second model
assigns this button for one-touch dialing thus providing an additional one-
touch button. The microphone activate/deactivate capability cannot be used
when the button is assigned for one-touch operation.
If you try to reactivate MIC-OFF without removing assignment as a One-
Touch button, the message "INVALID SELECTION" appears and your attempt
fails.
If deactivating the MIC-OFF button, be sure the function is turned off (the
LED is unlit) before beginning the procedure.
1. Press OPTIONS, numeric key "1", "2", then ENTER.

2. Press ENTER.
1: SUPPORT
The LED in the upper right button indicates its current state:
• Off: Unassigned
• Green: Active as MIC-OFF
• Red: Assigned as a One-Touch button
To reactivate MIC-OFF, first cancel the one-touch assignment on the upper
right button.
3. Press 1, then ENTER to activate MIC-OFF . Or press 2, then ENTER to
deactivate MIC-OFF:

COMPLETED
Press either asterisk (*) to go back to sub-menu or OPTIONS to exit the option
menu.
