Handsfree, Handset, and Headset Modes (Option 6)
The Fujitsu SRS 12i / 24i IP Centrex Telephone can be set up to use the
handset, the speaker, or a headset by selecting from the following modes:
Handsfree
This feature enables user to talk on the phone in handsfree mode. Make sure
the speaker function is set ON for support.
Handset Mode

Enables normal use as a handset phone. While in this mode, the speaker
can be enabled or disabled.
Headset Mode
Enables use as a headset-only phone. Disconnect the handset from the jack
on the phone' s bottom and plug the headset into the same jack. Then plug
the handset into the controller for the headset if you want to alternatively
use it. Calls are connected and disconnected only by your pressing the SPKR
button. In headset mode, the handsfree mode, including the speaker /
microphone, is not supported.
Using the Handset or a Headset
1. Press OPTIONS, numeric key "6", then ENTER.
2. Press ENTER.
3. Press 1 or 2 to select your choice. Then, ENTER.

It is now possible to operate the telephone using only your headset. The
SPKR button controls picking up and hanging up calls, and the MIC-OFF
button is not operational. The MIC-OFF button is supported in headset mode.
The sounds that are usually audible through the speaker, such as the key
tones, are now audible only through the headset.
Press either asterisk (*) to go back to sub-menu or OPTIONS to exit the option
menu.
