Installing the streamer

Please note the information provided in the operating manual of the computer or in the

The following steps must be performed to install the streamer:

The drivers required for operating SCSI drives are either part of the operating system or

are provided with the software.
Setting jumpers
The drive can be set by means of jumpers. The jumpers can be found on the rear of the drive.
1 = Connection for diagnostic purposes
2 = Plug-in jumper for Wide SCSI
configuration
3 = Plug-in jumper for Termination Power
Pin 1 is drawn bold in each case.
Connection for diagnostic purposes
This connection is only for internal use.
Wide SCSI configuration
With this plug-in jumper you can configure the streamer for Wide SCSI.
Pin pair 1/2 inserted = 8-bit SCSI
Pin pair 1/2 not inserted = 16-bit SCSI (Wide SCSI)
