Motion detection
E:nable rrlotion detection to reduce the effects of camera shake and subject
movement when shooting still pictures.
Auto
When camera detects the rnovement of the subject or camera shake, the shutter
speed will be increased for reducing the effect'S
of
them.
However, IrlotlOI) detectiorl does not function in the followillC) situations.
• When fill flash is used
• When specific scene modes are used (0]41 to 47)
• vVhen shooting modes
P, S, A, M,
U
1
or
U
2
is used
• When sport cOlltinuous mode is selected.
Off (default setting)
Motion detection will not be applied.
When rnotion detection is enabled, the current setting is displayed during shooting
(when
Off
is selected, an icon for the current setting is not displayed) ([[]8).
The motion detection icon will glow green when the camera detects any vibration
and increases the shutter speed.
