Insert the memory card.
• Make sure that the orientation of the memory card is
correct, and slide it in until it clicks into place.

Be sure to confirm that the memory card
is in the correct orientation.

Close the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.

Removing the Battery and Memory Card
Turn the camera off and confirm that the power-on lamp and the monitor are off before
opening the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
Removing the Battery
• To remove the battery, open the battery-chamber/memory card

slot cover and slide the orange battery latch in the direction
shown

The battery can then be removed by hand

• Note that the battery may become hot during use; observe
due caution when removing the battery.
