Blind hem stitching

In this sewing method the stitch cannot be seen on the front of the fabric.
Caution
Before changing the presser foot, use the main power switch to turn
off the sewing machine.
Not doing so could cause an injury.

Change to the zigzag sewing foot or the blind stitch foot.
Set the stitch length dial between "1" and "2".

Sew overcasting along the edge of the fabric, and then fold the fabric as shown.
Tack or iron a crease 6 to 8 mm from the edge of the fabric.

At the tacking or the crease
that was ironed, fold back the
fabric so that wrong side faces
upward.
Turn the handwheel towards yourself
until the needle is on the left side.
